Job Summary & Responsibilities

The Senior Sales Account Manager will manage sales responsibilities in a South Europe territory (including France and Italy) and serve major accounts in the region. Reporting to the Senior Director of Sales Europe, this role involves representing Onto Innovation and its extensive product portfolio with the support of local and international technical experts. The ideal candidate is organized, energetic, an excellent communicator, a strong team player, and a tech enthusiast, with both commercial and technical expertise to align customer requirements with Onto Innovation's solutions.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • University degree in a technical field with commercial experience or vice versa.
  • Proven sales record and a winning attitude.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel more than 50% within Europe and internationally.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • 3-15 years experience selling capital equipment.
  • Fluency in German and English.
  • Strong Microsoft 365 product knowledge.

Advantageous:

  • Experience selling metrology and/or inspection systems.
  • Basic knowledge in optics, yield management, defect inspection, and metrology technologies.
  • Understanding of Frontend and/or Backend semiconductor manufacturing techniques.
  • Experience with CRM and ERP systems such as SalesForce, SAP, or Oracle.
  • Experience managing global customers with multiple continental presence.
