What You’ll Do
- Own features from implementation to production in a defined scope
- Build and maintain robust Ruby on Rails systems used at scale
- Collaborate closely with product teams and other developers
- Write and maintain comprehensive automated tests (unit, integration, and E2E)
- Improve performance, reliability, and maintainability of systems
- Take responsibility for long-term health and quality of code
What We’re Looking For
Required: 4+ years of professional Ruby on Rails experience, strong backend engineering and database skills, proven automated test writing skills, production system experience, autonomous working ability, and a problem-solving mindset with web API familiarity. Availability during EMEA working hours is essential.
Nice to Have: Experience with React, CI/CD (GitLab, Jenkins, etc.), background jobs, AWS, complex integrations, and Capybara.
