About the PHP Developer Role

OnTheGoSystems is seeking a PHP Developer to build and maintain products used daily by over 250,000 clients. This role involves writing PHP and React code with full coverage via automated tests, and a strong focus on design, usability, performance, and security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain key features for WPML.
  • Collaborate with teams to design and develop new features.
  • Solve technical problems ensuring clean, efficient, scalable code.
  • Manage projects from start to finish.
  • Improve development processes and propose efficiency enhancements.

Required Skills

  • Strong PHP, JavaScript, React, and Redux experience.
  • Expertise in databases and automated tests using PHPUnit.
  • Experience in End to End tests and Git version control.
  • Knowledge in software architecture design and design patterns.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • CI configuration/management.
  • Experience with WordPress and Codeception.
  • Familiarity with functional programming.
