We are now seeking an Automation Engineer dedicated to internal automation and productivity systems. In this role, you will report directly to the CEO and focus 100% on making the company work smarter and faster.

Your Mission

Build tools and systems that help teams make better decisions and execute work with measurable efficiency gains across the organization.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and deliver fast: Ship a focused MVP in weeks and iterate based on real impact.
  • Build smart systems: Design and develop a Ruby on Rails and React product with robust data pipelines, dashboards, and automation.
  • Automate insights: Implement alerting, scoreboards, and operational tooling that leadership uses.
  • Measure results: Define input/output metrics, conduct evaluations, and prove ROI.
  • Own operations: Ensure system reliability, security, cost control, and maintain clear runbooks.

What We’re Looking For

  • Ability to work independently and translate problems into clear specifications.
  • Strong experience in Ruby on Rails and React, with familiarity in APIs, background jobs, and data modeling.
  • Understanding of AI automation frameworks (e.g., LangChain or similar).
  • Measurement-first mindset with skills in SQL, basic statistics, and experiment design.
  • Focus on operability including retries, idempotency, observability, and incident handling.
  • Commitment to security and privacy.
  • Excellent communication and testing practices to verify impact.
