About the Role
The Conversational AI Engineer at Onix is responsible for designing and implementing AI solutions using platforms such as Dialogflow CX, CCAI Insights, and integrations with third-party telephony and CRM systems. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, IT leaders, and technical teams to create effective conversational flows for voice and chat use cases.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead clients in the architecture and design of Conversational AI solutions
- Drive design and implementation ensuring industry standards
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and technical teams
- Maintain quality, integrity, and governance standards
- Stay updated on the latest CAI advancements and recommend relevant solutions
- Create technical documentation and architectural diagrams
- Mentor new engineers and architects
- Partner with Delivery and Support teams to optimize deployments
Qualifications & Skills
- Consulting, pre-sales or post-sales experience
- 8+ years experience in technical demonstrations and client engagements
- 5+ years designing public cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Proficiency in conversational design and CAI best practices
- Experience with contact center solutions
- Understanding of emerging generative CAI technologies
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Bilingual in Spanish or French is a plus
Additional Information
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required. Up to 10% travel may be expected. This position is remote and adheres to equal employment opportunities guidelines. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States or Canada without sponsorship.
