About the Role - Product Owner - Onboarding & Workflows

As a Product Owner supporting our Onboarding and Workflows team, you will be the voice of our users and stakeholders, ensuring the development team builds intuitive, impactful features that streamline the client and advisor experience. This role involves collaborating with engineering, design, and business teams to drive the product vision forward, delivering efficient, compliant, and scalable workflows that support account setup, account maintenance, money movement, and advisor operations.

Responsibilities

  • Own and prioritize the product backlog with clear user stories.
  • Communicate product requirements and priorities to the development team.
  • Partner with stakeholders to design features for digital onboarding and workflow improvements.
  • Collaborate with engineering to plan sprints, manage dependencies, and coordinate releases.
  • Review and accept development work to ensure usability and business value.
  • Champion an iterative release process focusing on frequent, high-value updates.
  • Monitor adoption and performance of workflows, sharing insights with senior management.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years as a Product Owner or similar role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in wealth management, fintech, or financial services.
  • Familiarity with digital client/advisor platforms for onboarding, money movement, and account maintenance.
  • Strong technical acumen and experience with modern tech stacks.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Understanding of US financial services and regulatory requirements.
