Role Overview

As a Product Owner - Client & Advisor Portals at OneVest, you will serve as the voice of the users, ensuring the development of intuitive features that enhance digital experiences for clients and advisors. You will collaborate with engineering, design, and business teams to drive the product vision forward.

Responsibilities

  • Own and prioritize the product backlog, translating business goals and user needs into clear user stories.
  • Communicate product requirements and priorities to the development team.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define features that improve advisor workflows and client experiences.
  • Collaborate with engineering to plan sprints, manage dependencies, and coordinate releases.
  • Review and accept development work ensuring usability and functional standards.
  • Champion an iterative release process with frequent, high-value updates.
  • Act as the primary contact for product-related questions regarding client and advisor portals.
  • Monitor portal adoption, performance, and engagement while reporting insights to senior management.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a Product Owner or similar role within fintech or financial services.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with digital client/advisor platforms and relevant functionalities.
  • Strong technical acumen and enthusiasm for learning new tools.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Understanding of US financial services and regulatory requirements.
