Role Overview: Product Owner

As a Product Owner at OneVest, you will be the voice of the customer and stakeholders. You are responsible for managing the product backlog, ensuring the development team delivers the right features in a timely manner, and driving product vision in collaboration with engineering, design, and business units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog with detailed user stories and criteria.
  • Communicate product requirements and priorities to the development team.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on product features, focusing on portfolio management, trade rebalancing, and optimization.
  • Plan sprints and releases while managing project dependencies with engineering.
  • Accept or reject delivered work based on defined criteria.
  • Champion an iterative release process for frequent value delivery.
  • Monitor product performance and provide regular updates to senior management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role in wealth management or financial services.
  • Knowledge of portfolio management products including trade rebalancing and tax optimization.
  • Strong understanding of US Markets and related technologies.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
