IT Director

Overview

OneStream Software is seeking an experienced IT Director to lead the Business Technology Services team. The role is remote within the USA and offers a competitive compensation, benefits, and equity package.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Define and execute IT strategy aligned with business goals. Lead and mentor a distributed team across multiple regions. Plan technology initiatives including infrastructure modernization and digital transformation. Collaborate with senior leadership to shape long-term service roadmaps.

Operational Excellence: Oversee system performance, availability, and resilience. Implement SLAs, KPIs, and ITIL-based practices. Drive automation and process optimization across incident, problem, and change workflows. Maintain a high standard of internal IT support.

Security & Risk Management: Partner with Information Security to implement robust cybersecurity controls and disaster recovery plans. Conduct audits and risk assessments for regulatory compliance. Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.

Budget & Vendor Management: Manage the Business Technology Services budget with forecasting and ROI analysis. Negotiate and manage vendor contracts for infrastructure, software, and managed services.

Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing IT team. Define roles and development plans, fostering accountability and agility.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT operations with 5+ years in senior leadership.
• Experience managing enterprise-scale infrastructure in a SaaS or software environment.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), networking, endpoint management, and ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
• Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams globally.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Master’s preferred).
• ITIL v4 Foundation required; PMP, CISSP, or cloud certifications preferred.
• Experience working within a SaaS business model.
