Job Description: Confirmed Data Engineer
As a Confirmed Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining high-performance data architectures, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to meet business needs. You will work on diverse projects ranging from integrating new data sources to optimizing existing flows, utilizing the latest Big Data and Cloud technologies. This position offers the opportunity to work in an innovative and stimulating environment with constant technical challenges.
Key Missions:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and efficient data pipelines (ETL/ELT).
- Manage and optimize databases (SQL and NoSQL) to ensure data availability and integrity.
- Implement Big Data solutions using technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
- Collaborate with Data Science and Business Intelligence teams to understand business needs and provide ready-to-use data.
- Ensure data quality, security, and compliance (GDPR, anonymization).
- Participate in defining data architecture and implementing cloud solutions (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Automate processes and optimize the performance of data processing systems.
Required Technical Skills:
- Excellent proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Experience with pipeline management tools (Apache Airflow, Luigi).
- Mastery of Big Data technologies: Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka.
- Skills in Cloud Computing: AWS (S3, Redshift), Google Cloud (BigQuery), or Azure.
- Understanding of data security best practices and GDPR compliance.
Required Soft Skills:
- Analytical mindset and complex problem-solving.
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate with technical and non-technical profiles.
- Good time and priority management in an agile environment.
- Curiosity and constant technological watch.
Desired Profile:
- Degree in computer science, software engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience in a specific sector (e.g., finance, e-commerce, etc.) is a plus.
- Cloud Certification (AWS, GCP, Azure) is appreciated.
