One North, a Singapore based IT Services firm, is actively seeking a Business Analyst - Insurance Domain with substantial experience in the Insurance Domain, specifically with LifeAsia, and 6-9 years of overall experience.

Job Description & Requirements

In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for defining user cases and user stories for applications based on an in-depth understanding of business processes. You will also develop acceptance criteria to ensure the quality of application releases. You will report to a Lead Business Analyst and collaborate closely with business units and other IT teams.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Prior experience as a Business Analyst (6+ years) with an in-depth understanding of the entire SDLC process.
• 3+ years’ experience in the Insurance Domain, particularly with LifeAsia, is preferred.
• Good understanding of insurance product sales and servicing processes.
• Proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Prior experience in Software Development or knowledge of SDLC is an added advantage.
• Ability to understand business processes and define business requirements via use cases/user stories.
• Exposure to finance or actuarial concepts is advantageous.
• Experience with POS Systems will be advantageous.
• Capable of creating test plans, functional scenarios, performing system testing, and assisting with UATs.
• Effective liaison and communication with various stakeholders including application/tech teams and project teams.
• End-to-End Software Delivery experience is beneficial.
• Familiarity with platforms such as Confluence, JIRA, and MS Office Suite.
• Ability to create test cases and test plans.
• Commitment to providing and sharing knowledge with team members.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Managing project initiatives with strong Business Analysis expertise within an Agile framework.
• Building traceability matrices from Product Backlog and developing user stories for each Sprint.
• Effectively managing business, IT, and user stakeholders.
• Demonstrating passion for agile, strong collaboration skills, and ability to work across diverse clients, internal projects, and teams.
• Driving the delivery of software development projects within a supportive and innovative culture.
• Providing end-user training.
