Overview of the Data Analyst I Role at One Inc

As the payment leader within the insurtech space, One Inc provides its customers with a full suite of inbound and outbound payment solutions via its digital payments platform. The company’s rapid growth has increased the need to infuse every function with the right data, metrics, and processes to improve decision-making and resource optimization.

The Analytics team plays a key role in making that happen by collaborating across the organization and with customers to identify opportunities for accelerating revenue and profits. These insights are then paired with a deep understanding of available (and desirable) data sets to conceptualize, design, and build business solutions.

One Inc is looking for a Data Analyst I with a strong foundation in statistics and analytics, as well as a passion for digging into data and building models, to join the Analytics team. The ideal candidate will be excited about using data visualization to communicate complex analysis. At One Inc, data plays a central role in how we manage our business. Our team works across all departments to provide analysis and insights for future growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze new client opportunities by identifying synergies with our vendor network, building out revenue projections, and supporting the Sales Team with client-facing presentations.
• Build automated reporting tools, dashboards, presentations, and conduct ad hoc analysis to deliver business insights.
• Monitor client performance post go-live and refine projection models.
• Automate reporting tools, design consumable graphics, and conduct ad hoc product analysis to communicate business insights.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to understand user behavior, product trends, and areas of opportunity.
• Coordinate research requests with internal and external stakeholders and provide deliverables in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Marketing, Statistics, Math, or Computer Science or equivalent combination of experience.
• 2 years experience working with large datasets; proficiency in SQL and Python; ability to connect to multiple data sources.
• Experience using reporting and visualization tools (Expert Power BI, Tableau, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Ability to self-start and self-direct work in an unstructured environment.
• Must be extremely collaborative and comfortable dealing with ambiguity.
• Ability to quickly learn new concepts and products.
• Attention to detail with ability to think strategically.
• Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications (But Not Required)

• Payments experience.
• Insurance experience.
