About The Role
The Web team at Ondo Finance builds the applications, APIs, and underlying systems for crucial product experiences, enabling user access to complex investment products across various chains including Ethereum, Binance, Arbitrum, Solana, Sui, and Aptos. This involves working on onboarding, mint/redeem flows for products like USDY and OUSG, tokenized stocks and ETFs, portfolio experience, and bridge infrastructure. You will join a small, exceptional, and fast-growing team, taking on real responsibility from day one. This is a true full-stack role requiring you to move between product surfaces, APIs, backend systems, integrations, and core infrastructure, owning problems end-to-end with speed, rigor, and strong technical judgment. Responsibilities
- Build and ship high-quality product experiences across the stack, emphasizing speed, reliability, usability, and craft.
- Design and implement clean, maintainable frontend systems and user interfaces using React and TypeScript.
- Develop APIs, backend services, and integration layers supporting product functionality and internal operations.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Design to translate ambiguity into clear plans, strong technical decisions, and fast execution.
- Own problems end to end, from concept and design through implementation, iteration, and maintenance.
- Exercise strong engineering judgment in architecture, abstractions, tooling, and tradeoffs, prioritizing simplicity and durability.
- Thoughtfully and effectively utilize AI-native engineering workflows to boost velocity, enhance quality, and strengthen execution.
- Stay updated on AI tooling, developer workflows, and crypto infrastructure advances, applying them for leverage.
- Contribute to a culture of high standards, ownership, continuous improvement, and strong collaboration.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience shipping high-quality software in production, ideally with Node.js, React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Exceptional effectiveness with AI-native engineering workflows, including proficiency with leading coding models, IDE copilots, agent tools, eval harnesses, benchmark patterns, and verification loops.
- Exceptional engineering ability and craft, with strong product instincts, a deep care for quality, and a consistent track record of producing clean, durable, well-reasoned systems.
- A history of operating with high ownership and intensity, proactively driving projects forward and making sound decisions without waiting for perfect specifications.
- Strong full-stack fundamentals across web applications, APIs, distributed systems, and modern front-end architecture.
- High standards for performance, reliability, usability, and developer experience.
- Clear communication, strong collaboration skills, and a low-ego approach to teamwork that elevates others.
- Must be based in PT, MT, CT, or ET time zones.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent demonstrated ability.
