Job Description
Engineering Lead
We are hiring an Engineering Lead to manage and grow an engineering team. The role combines hands-on technical leadership with people management — shipping the roadmap, growing engineers, and shaping how the team works.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 5–10 engineers toward delivery of the product roadmap
- Run 1:1s, growth conversations, and performance reviews
- Hire, onboard, and develop new engineers
- Make architectural and technical trade-off decisions in partnership with senior engineers
- Partner with product and design on planning, scoping, and delivery
- Shape engineering practices, standards, and team rituals
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 6+ years in software engineering, with at least 2 years managing engineers
- Track record of leading teams that consistently ship high-quality software
- Strong technical depth and credibility with senior engineers
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Experience hiring, growing, and developing engineering talent
- Comfort balancing technical contribution with people leadership
