Position Overview

Location: Remote

Schedule: Monday - Friday

The Vice President of Business Unit IT is responsible for leading all IT functions within a specific business unit in a decentralized IT environment. This role ensures that technological initiatives align with the business unit’s strategic objectives while maintaining compliance with corporate standards and regulatory requirements.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute IT strategies that support the business unit’s goals and objectives.
  • Ensure alignment of IT initiatives with business unit strategy and corporate governance.
  • Oversee application development, infrastructure, and support services within the business unit.
  • Manage IT budgets and drive cost optimization within the business unit.
  • Ensure cybersecurity compliance and risk management for business unit systems.
  • Collaborate with corporate IT and other business units to maintain interoperability and standards.
  • Lead IT staff within the business unit and foster a culture of innovation and accountability.
  • Report IT performance and strategic progress to business unit leadership and corporate executives.
  • Drive continuous improvement in IT service delivery and project execution.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in IT leadership roles, with at least 5 years managing decentralized IT functions.
  • Experience in a publicly traded company environment preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of IT governance, cybersecurity, and compliance frameworks.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and deliver complex IT projects.
