Job Overview

The Import/Export/FTZ Operations Manager in Dallas, Texas will be the main point of contact for Foreign-Trade Zone (FTZ) operations between Omron and US Customs and Border Protection as well as Omron’s Customs Brokers. This role collaborates with trade compliance personnel and logistics teams to establish and maintain best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate FTZ requirements to internal and external teams
  • Resolve or escalate FTZ operational issues promptly
  • File entries and prepare documents for CBP regarding FTZ merchandise
  • Support compliance audits and post-entry audit programs
  • Manage Import/Export freight forwarders and associated vendors

Job Requirements

  • 4-year degree or 2 years college education plus 7 years experience
  • Minimum 7 years in Import/Export and Customs Brokerage Operations
  • Familiarity with US Customs regulations and FTZ processes
  • Experience with OneSource (Integration Point) is a plus
  • Intermediate MS Excel and basic ERP/WMS systems proficiency
  • Strong communication, problem-solving and leadership skills
  • Travel required: less than 10%
