Job Description

About Omnisend

Working at Omnisend is... kind of boring. Not the soul-crushing kind of boring — more like the “no drama, no chaos, just smart people doing great work” kind. The kind that lets you focus on what matters, without pointless meetings, micromanagement, or bureaucracy. We’re data-driven. We test, we iterate, we improve. Gut feelings don’t drive decisions — insights do. We trust each other. We’re transparent, give real feedback, and actually listen. No egos, no hand-holding — just a team of experienced professionals moving fast, adapting easily, and delivering impact. Omnisend is customer-funded and customer-driven. Our work is rooted in solving real problems that help ecommerce brands grow. No empty promises — we bring in results. And yes, we have fun. But the grown-up kind — workations, team gatherings, the occasional party. No forced fun, no awkward icebreakers. Just genuine moments with a team that actually enjoys working together.

Your Role: Product Designer, Activation & Conversion

In this role, you’ll shape how brands experience Omnisend from the very beginning. You’ll get to know our product and user personas inside and out so you can design an onboarding journey that helps every customer succeed and reach that ‘Aha!’ moment fast. You’ll blend creativity with a data-driven mindset — testing ideas, running experiments, and learning what truly makes a difference for our users. It’s a high-impact role where you’ll craft experiences that help users find success early and stay with Omnisend for the long run.

You’ll join a fully cross-functional product team. At its core is the Trifecta: a Designer (you), a Product Manager, and an Engineering Manager. This trio leads the team’s direction — making decisions together, setting priorities, and driving fast, focused progress. You’ll report directly to the Director of Product Design.

What You’ll Do @Omnisend

  • Take ownership of the user experience within your product area—shaping it end-to-end with clarity and intent.
  • Translate insights from research, product data, and strategy into compelling, user-centered design solutions.
  • Drive iterative design decisions that balance user needs, technical realities, and business outcomes.
  • Champion design quality and consistency across all product surfaces and customer touchpoints.
  • Raise the bar for product design, contributing to a culture of craft, critique, and continuous improvement.
  • Advance our design system, ensuring it supports scalable, efficient delivery across teams.

We Expect That You’ll Bring

  • 3+ years of hands-on product design experience (UX & UI) in user-centric tech environments, with a portfolio of shipped design work.
  • Strong skills in interaction design, lo-fi and hi-fi prototyping.
  • A customer-first mindset and the ability to translate insights into thoughtful, intuitive solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with user research—planning, conducting, and applying both moderated and unmoderated methods.
  • Ability to clearly communicate design rationale and advocate for users in cross-functional discussions.
  • Strategic thinking that connects design decisions to user needs, product goals, and long-term impact.
  • Understanding of how design systems are built, maintained, and scaled across teams.
  • Proficiency in Figma; experience with tools like Mixpanel is a plus.
  • Proven experience working within multidisciplinary product teams.
  • Strong sense of ownership, initiative, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience mentoring other designers and/or leading initiatives is a strong advantage.
  • Bonus: experience establishing and owning a design system from the ground up.

How We Work and What We Value

  • Aligned and focused – Company-wide OKRs and the GIST framework keep us working toward clear, meaningful outcomes.
  • Experiment-driven – We ship quickly to learn, test ideas early, and improve based on real feedback.
  • Customer and data-informed – We talk to users regularly and use product metrics to guide our decisions.
  • Product-led growth – We believe the product experience should drive adoption, retention, and long-term success.

What We Offer in Return

  • Gross salary starting at 4000 EUR/month based on experience.
  • Quarterly salary reviews.
  • An unlimited learning budget for self-improvement complying with the best interest of Omnisend
  • Working methods and best practices inspired by the best tech companies in Silicon Valley
  • Over 80% senior colleagues in Product - and over half company-wide - to accelerate your growth
  • Flexible working hours and remote work possibilities
  • Private health insurance
  • Unlimited access to psychotherapy
  • Workstation budget
  • Personalized work anniversary gifts (house cleaning, spa treatments, international flights etc.)
  • Annual company trip abroad, company gatherings twice a year, team-led teambuildings
