About Director, Data Operations

Responsibilities

External Facing:

  • Lead taxonomy strategy discussions for media reporting breakdown.
  • Drive adoption of reporting automation across teams.
  • Serve as subject matter expert on data quality processes.
  • Gather requirements for dashboards and reporting tools.
  • Manage project plans and follow up on deliverables.
  • Provide ongoing technical support for data operations and taxonomy.

Internal Facing:

  • Ensure compliance with data quality standards.
  • Mentor and train junior staff and offshore teams.
  • Create and write data-related standards and processes.
  • Propose targeted solutions for data quality and operational inefficiencies.

Required Skills

  • Expertise in data visualization and automation solutions (Tableau, Datorama, Alteryx).
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Proven experience in standardized taxonomy practices.
  • Expert QA resolution skills.
  • Familiarity with planning and optimization tools (Planit, Prisma, DDS).
  • Experience with various digital advertising platforms and Google Suite tools.
  • Excellent project management abilities.

Education and Experience

A university degree in a related field and 7-10 years of experience in advertising, management consulting, marketing, or digital consulting. Knowledge of agency-side execution processes is essential.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation Range: $90,000—$215,000 USD. Benefits include health, vision and dental insurance, 401(k), various flexible spending accounts, paid leave (vacation, sick, personal, parental, medical), and STD/LTD insurance.

Work Arrangement

This is a hybrid role requiring three days in the office and two remote days, with potential adjustments over time.
