Job Description

The Group Sales Manager is responsible for generating group revenue by securing new and repeat business in a defined territory. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in luxury hotel group sales, and they will be expected to meet monthly sales goals, develop strategic sales plans, and maintain a high level of communication across departments. This role is eligible for Omni's Work From Home Program after 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve assigned sales and revenue goals.
  • Send proposals for qualified group leads and convert proposals to bookings.
  • Maintain timely turnover of business for seamless service.
  • Maximize revenue through effective merchandising of guest rooms and function spaces.
  • Develop and maintain a map of group business accounts.
  • Participate in telemarketing, tradeshows, and other sales initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for optimal sales and revenue outcomes.
  • Follow all operational standards and policies of Omni Hotels.

Qualifications & Requirements

Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years hotel sales experience or equivalent industry experience. Strong business communication and presentation skills are required. Experience in soliciting, negotiating, and closing group sales is essential. Must be comfortable with occasional travel and on-site client meetings.
