Job Purpose
The Field Sales Engineer – West will manage relationships and drive sales for the Ecosorb Industrial brand in the Western United States. The role requires technical expertise to explain the benefits of OMI solutions and services, and a strong knowledge of the scientific processes behind our products. The position reports to the Director of Industrial Sales and collaborates with multiple teams including Equipment Technology, R&D, Revenue Operations, and Sales.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver presentations on Ecosorb solutions.
- Assess customer needs and craft custom proposals.
- Conduct on-site visits and product demonstrations.
- Manage leads and update customer information in Salesforce.
- Troubleshoot on-site systems with engineering support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize sales systems.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering or equivalent experience; 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in technical fields such as Asphalt or Wastewater; proficient with Microsoft Office and Salesforce CRM; strong understanding of chemistry, physics, math, and product design; willingness to travel 30-50% overnight. Physical requirements include the ability to work outdoors, adhere to safety protocols, and wear required PPE.
Travel and Work Environment
This role involves significant travel within the West region (including states such as Oregon, Washington, parts of Nevada, Arizona, etc.). When not traveling, work is conducted from a home office outfitted with appropriate technology and travel allowances. Work may occur in varied outdoor settings and environments.
