About the role

Full-Stack Software Engineer at Omber, Inc.

Omber is looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer to build and ship features across our entire product stack. You'll work on everything from database schema design to user-facing interfaces, collaborating closely with product, design, and other engineers to turn ideas into working software.

What You'll Do

  • Design, build, and maintain features across the frontend and backend
  • Develop and consume RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs
  • Model data and write efficient queries against relational and/or NoSQL databases
  • Write clean, tested, maintainable code and participate in code reviews
  • Partner with design to build responsive, accessible user interfaces
  • Improve system performance, reliability, and observability
  • Contribute to technical planning, architecture decisions, and CI/CD workflows
  • Debug and resolve production issues end to end

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience (adjust for seniority)
  • Proficiency with a modern frontend framework (React, Vue, or Svelte) and TypeScript/JavaScript
  • Strong backend experience in at least one of Node.js, Python, Go, Java, or Ruby
  • Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and data modeling
  • Experience with Git, code review, and collaborative development workflows
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work independently in a fast-moving environment
