About the Role
As a QC Specialist at OLIVER, you will be an eagle-eyed proofreader with exquisite attention to detail, becoming a key part of the team. You'll work closely with the studio manager, production artists, copywriters, and project managers to ensure quality and consistency across all output. The successful candidate will act as a brand guardian, ensuring the highest quality and consistency for our client. You will also need a keen design eye to determine if assets meet specifications, guidelines, and file requirements. This role supports the Studio in all its print and digital production materials to ensure that the final product is error-free and on-brand.
What You Will Be Doing
- Work closely with the Studio Production team to ensure that jobs are completed in a timely manner.
- Perform all quality control for deliverables, ensuring they are of perfect quality.
- Verify all files pass control specifications set by OLIVER and by the publication/printer.
- Check size, color space, and resolution of all jobs leaving the studio, including correct color specifications and density specs on all images.
- Ensure jobs completed by the studio meet the exact brief given.
- Help Project Managers and the production team ensure all files are of suitable quality to work with at the start of any campaign or project.
- Monitor the quality of all work produced in the studio.
- Provide support to the Studio Manager in keeping a log of mistakes and help devise ways to prevent future errors.
- Ensure all operators file and name work correctly and artists adhere to appropriate workflows for specific projects.
- Ability to mark-up materials digitally.
- Check all material types produced for specific brands.
- Work with teams to ensure all marketing materials are on brief and follow brand guidelines.
What You Need to Be Great in This Role
- 2-3 years of experience in Quality Control (QC).
- Experience working in a role that collaborates with different agency teams (e.g., creative, account).
- Strong written and interpersonal skills, with prior experience working as part of a creative team and familiarity with agency workflows.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects at one time.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Acute attention to detail.
- Keen knowledge of grammar.
- Ability to prioritize workload.
At the time of this posting, the base salary for this position may range from $63,750.00 to $71,250.00. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. The range listed is just one component of OLIVER’s total compensation package.
