The Role And Responsibilities
Experienced professionals at Oliver Wyman bring the expertise to drive lasting changes for our clients and the company. We are distinct from typical 'management' consultants; we provide industry- and discipline-specific knowledge that amplifies our impact and helps shape the future for our clients. Oliver Wyman fosters a diverse, entrepreneurial, non-competitive partnership of individuals who are encouraged to pursue new opportunities or build unique franchises in a collegial and enjoyable environment.
Associate:
- Break down complex problems into discrete tasks, identifying key aspects and directing junior consultants' focus.
- Effectively plan and execute analysis, identifying core issues to craft suitable recommendations.
- Work closely with clients and project team members to advance projects and manage small teams.
- Clients and colleagues will look to Associates for unique insight into chosen subject areas.
Engagement Manager:
- Act as the on-scene leader, managing projects day-to-day.
- Lead teams through efficient problem-solving processes, from initial hypothesis to solution convergence.
- Ensure recommendations are practical, sensible, relevant, and cohesive.
- The role demands strategic thought leadership and command of technical and operational execution details.
- Requires strong communication skills and the ability to forge robust relationships.
Your Attributes And Experience
Clients choose Oliver Wyman for specialized expertise. The ideal candidate will possess most of the following qualifications:
- A degree from a top academic program.
- At least 5-7 years of relevant experience, preferably with a top-tier strategy consulting firm or a similar organization.
- Demonstrated experience in leading projects within governmental/public sector institutions, ideally within the GCC region.
- A proven track record of leading and managing teams and clients, consistently delivering against tight deadlines in fast-paced and demanding environments.
- A strong foundation in strategic problem-solving complemented by demonstrable analytical skills.
- Outstanding communication skills, with comfort in presenting to senior executives, both internally and to clients.
- A strong can-do attitude, initiative, curiosity, and a desire to learn.
- Arabic language proficiency is a plus.
- Willingness to travel.
