Platform Engineer
Our client, one of Europe’s leading trading FinTechs, is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to join their team. This remote position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects within a dynamic, agile environment.
As a Platform Engineer, you will contribute to various initiatives, encompassing bare metal Linux and AWS cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and the automation of tooling and processes. You will collaborate closely with software developers, quants, and trading engineers to support live trading applications and develop reusable, scalable solutions. The team operates with a strong focus on continuous deployment, leveraging infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation with Terraform to drive innovation.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Systems Engineer.
- Strong expertise in Terraform and a deep understanding of infrastructure as code principles.
- Excellent knowledge of Linux infrastructure.
- Solid experience with AWS cloud services.
- Proficiency in containerisation and container orchestration, specifically Kubernetes.
- Demonstrated ability to design and build robust Cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines.
- Good understanding of networking concepts.
- Experience within a trading, finance, or FinTech environment is highly desirable.
