Job Description
Platform Engineer at Oliver Bernard
Our client is one of Europe’s leading trading FinTechs. They are offering a fully remote position for an experienced Platform Engineer (DevOps / Systems Engineering). This role involves working on bare metal Linux, AWS Cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, tooling and process automation alongside software developers, quants, and trading engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Design and build Cloud platforms on AWS.
- Maintain bare metal Linux environments.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation processes.
- Collaborate with developers and engineers in an agile setup.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Platform/DevOps/Systems Engineering.
- Strong Terraform skills and knowledge of infrastructure as code.
- In-depth understanding of Linux infrastructure and AWS.
- Experience with containerisation and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Background in trading, finance or FinTech is ideal.
- Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and networking.
