Overview

The Junior Escrow Officer at Old Republic Title will build clientele managing loan and sale transactions while operating an independent desk. In this role, you will serve as a key liaison among buyers, sellers, agents, lenders, and other parties, managing the escrow process from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main contact for all transaction parties and provide proactive updates.
  • Prepare escrow instructions, closing documents, settlement statements, and coordinate signings.
  • Review title commitments; work with title officers and underwriters to resolve issues.
  • Disburse funds and reconcile documents accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with purchase agreements and lender requirements.
  • Oversee issuance of title policies and endorsements.
  • Upload and categorize documents in internal systems.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to expand the customer base and generate leads.
  • Maintain clear communication logs and represent the company at industry events.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of direct escrow experience with varied transaction types.
  • Strong knowledge of title insurance, escrow documents, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry-specific software.
  • Excellent time management, attention to detail, and communication skills.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred; Notary Public Commission required.
