Overview
Old National Bank, serving clients since 1834 with over $70 billion in assets, is seeking a highly motivated Data Governance Analyst. This role supports enterprise-wide data governance initiatives and ensures data integrity, quality, and protection.
Responsibilities
The Data Governance Analyst will:
- Implement and maintain the enterprise data governance framework.
- Develop and execute data quality controls including issue tracking and remediation.
- Maintain metadata repositories and data catalogs using tools such as Informatica or Microsoft Purview.
- Collaborate with data owners and business units to document data definitions, lineage, and usage.
- Facilitate workshops to raise data governance awareness across the organization.
- Monitor data governance metrics and support audits with documentation and evidence.
- Contribute to projects like Modern Data Platform migration and regulatory reporting enhancements.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
A bachelor's degree in information systems, business, risk management, or a related field along with 2+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or risk/compliance roles is required. Familiarity with frameworks such as DCAM, NIST Privacy Framework, or FFIEC is preferred. Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills are a must.
