Core Identity Organization

Within Core Identity, our teams manage the authentication pipeline, identity protocols, user sessions, and the technical health of Auth0’s platform. You will work with engineers specializing in digital identity to drive secure, large-scale systems.

The Role

As a Senior Software Engineer in Core Identity, you will design, build, and operate key services forming the backbone of our identity platform. You will primarily work with Node.js (TypeScript/JavaScript), supported by databases including MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Redis on multi-cloud infrastructure (AWS and Azure).

  • Join agile, remote teams across Central Europe and North America.
  • Build innovative features that extend Auth0’s platform capabilities.
  • Ensure system quality, security, and scalability through rigorous practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners including Product, Security, and QA.
  • Mentor team members and possibly partake in on-call rotations.

What You Will Bring

You should have at least 4 years of professional software development experience, proficiency in Node.js, and a solid understanding of cloud environments and distributed systems. A product-oriented mindset and testing expertise are essential.

Nice to Have

Experience in identity and access management, security engineering principles, and remote team collaboration is a plus.
