Job Description

About Okta

Okta is The World’s Identity Company, dedicated to freeing everyone to safely use any technology, anywhere, on any device or app. Our Okta Platform and Auth0 Platform products provide secure access, authentication, and automation, positioning identity at the core of business security and growth. At Okta, we value diverse perspectives and experiences, seeking lifelong learners who contribute unique insights to our team. Join us in building a world where Identity belongs to you.

The Opportunity: Principal Product Marketing Manager, Auth0 AI

Auth0 technology offers an easy-to-implement authentication and authorization platform, crafted by developers for developers. It ensures safe, secure, and seamless access for over 100 million daily logins globally. This modern approach to identity enables a Tier 0 global service, delivering convenience, privacy, and security so customers can innovate without compromise. AI agents are revolutionizing app development but introduce new challenges regarding authentication, user impersonation, and secure sensitive data access. Auth0 for AI Agents (Auth for GenAI) is our new product line, currently in Developer Preview, designed to bring authentication, authorization, and trust to AI-powered experiences. We are searching for a Principal Product Marketing Manager with a strong technical background to lead the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy for Auth0’s AI portfolio, beginning with Auth for GenAI and expanding to future AI-driven products. This is a unique opportunity for a product marketer with a computer science or engineering background (or a product manager experienced in technical launches) to define a new category at the convergence of AI, security, and developer experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own the technical narrative: Translate identity + AI concepts (OAuth/OIDC, RAG, MCP servers, fine-grained authorization) into compelling positioning, messaging, and competitive differentiation.
  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering: Serve as the product marketing lead, deeply understanding architecture decisions, technical roadmaps, and development requirements.
  • Lead GTM for emerging products: Design and execute launches, from Developer Preview through General Availability (GA), ensuring adoption by enterprise developers and buy-in from executives.
  • Create technical proof points: Build insightful demos, sample applications, SDK showcases, and solution briefs that demonstrate value to technical builders and decision makers.
  • Enable the field: Equip sales, sales engineers, and partners with technically credible materials, including battlecards, demo flows, and reference architectures.
  • Represent Auth0 externally: Speak at conferences, engage with analysts, and contribute to blogs or webinars where deep technical credibility is essential.
  • Measure impact: Define adoption, pipeline, and win-rate metrics for AI products, using data to continuously refine strategy.

What You’ll Bring

  • Education/Background: A Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is strongly preferred.
  • Experience: 8+ years in product marketing, product management, or related technical GTM roles within SaaS/enterprise software. Direct experience launching AI-enabled products is preferred.
  • AI fluency: Demonstrated knowledge of LLMs, agentic workflows, RAG architectures, and common AI developer frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, GenKit).
  • Identity/security knowledge: Familiarity with OAuth/OIDC, authorization models, and security best practices for developers.
  • Technical storytelling: Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts simply and persuasively to both developers and executive buyers.
  • Hands-on builder mindset: Comfortable working with SDKs, APIs, and creating technical demos to validate and showcase product value.
  • Cross-functional leadership: A track record of successfully driving GTM initiatives across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams.

Why Join Us

At Okta, we are not just discussing the future—we are actively building it. With Auth0 for AI Agents, we are defining how identity will power the next generation of applications. This is a unique opportunity to shape a new product line, influence an emerging market, and establish the standard for secure, trusted AI experiences. We champion diversity of backgrounds and experiences, and we encourage you to apply even if you do not meet every single listed requirement.
