Role Overview - Legal Technology Specialist
In this role, you will support Okta’s legal tech stack as part of the Legal Operations Team. Reporting to the Director of Legal Systems and Technology, your responsibilities include supporting existing systems and executing roadmaps to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- System Stewardship: Administer legal portfolio systems including CLM, eBilling, eDiscovery, and workflow automation tools.
- Implementation Support: Assist vendor selection, testing, and global rollouts in concert with system SMEs and TDI.
- Process Optimization: Identify business requirements, enhance team productivity and replace manual operations with automated workflows.
- Technical Liaison: Collaborate with the TDI team to troubleshoot issues and manage escalation processes.
- Testing & Quality: Lead user acceptance testing for both tactical changes and large-scale legal technology projects.
- Data-Driven Insights: Support reporting and analytics initiatives to aid legal leadership decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with 3+ years in legal operations or technical support.
- Hands-on experience with legal applications and process automation; Conga (CLM) experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with AI or LLM tools and interest in their application to legal workflows.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with proven problem-resolution capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Highly organized team player with ability to manage competing priorities.
- Effective collaboration with a broad range of stakeholders.
Compensation & Benefits
The annual base salary range for candidates located in Canada is between $72,000 and $99,000 CAD. Additionally, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, RRSP matching, telemedicine, paid leave, and more.
