The Team

You will join the Customer Support AI team responsible for managing and optimizing our AI-powered customer service systems.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled AI Trainer to manage our customer support AI interfaces and agents. You will be the primary owner of the AI agent’s quality, monitoring its performance and continuously improving its training. This includes analyzing conversational data, developing training materials, implementing new training data, and enhancing response scripts.

  • Monitor and analyze AI agent performance metrics.
  • Review, categorize, and identify training opportunities from conversations.
  • Develop, test, and deploy new conversational flows and training data.
  • Collaborate with customer support and content teams to refine AI responses.
  • Update scripts and identify bugs or gaps for escalation.

What You’ll Bring To The Role

You should have proven experience in AI training, natural language processing (NLP), or conversational design with strong analytical skills. Excellent communication skills, familiarity with AI platforms like Dialogflow, IBM Watson, Rasa or similar, and the ability to work independently on multiple projects are essential.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range varies by location. For the San Francisco Bay area, it is between $152,000 and $228,000 USD, while in other eligible states it is between $136,000 and $204,000 USD. Okta also offers equity, bonus, and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending accounts, and paid leave.
