About the Team

Within the Business Technology Shared Services team, we build next-generation internal services by fusing GenAI, automation, and enterprise-grade engineering to deliver secure employee experiences. We collaborate with engineering, security, IT, and business stakeholders to bring AI-enabled products to life.

The Opportunity

As the Principal PM (AI & Automation) - Customer/Partner Personas, you will own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for Okta’s internal AI & automation platform. You will collaborate with engineering leadership to define secure, scalable platform capabilities that drive productivity, service delivery, and AI-first innovation.

What You’ll Do

• Define and own the product vision and roadmap for AI & automation capabilities including LLM platforms, workflow orchestration, and intelligent agents.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership to drive product development and technical decisions.
• Engage with various business stakeholders to prioritize high-impact use cases.
• Translate enterprise requirements into secure, scalable, and reusable platform capabilities.
• Establish success metrics and lead discovery, experimentation, and iteration cycles.
• Drive cross-functional alignment around GenAI/automation strategy and responsible AI practices.
• Stay updated on emerging AI, automation, and enterprise IT trends.

What You’ll Bring

• 10+ years in product management with experience in platform, infrastructure, or AI/ML domains.
• Proven success leading cross-functional initiatives from concept to scale.
• Deep understanding of enterprise software and internal user systems.
• Expertise in AI/ML technologies including GenAI, NLP, LLMs, or intelligent automation.
• Ability to work closely with engineers and influence technical strategy.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strategic mindset with a bias toward action and iterative improvement.

Compensation & Benefits

For candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area, the annual base salary range is $210,000—$316,000 USD. Additional compensation includes equity, bonus, and comprehensive benefits.
