About the Role: Head of Customer Revenue at Okoora
Okoora is seeking a Head of Customer Revenue to take full ownership and drive significant revenue growth across its entire customer base. This pivotal, hands-on leadership role is about transforming existing customers and new logos into a consistent, expanding Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) engine. Reporting directly to the CEO and joining the company's leadership team, you will be accountable for tangible results, not just strategies.
You will manage revenue from end-to-end, encompassing new customer acquisition, successful product adoption, expansion opportunities, and fostering long-term revenue growth.
What You Will Own:
As the Head of Customer Revenue, you will be the sole proprietor of revenue for your designated customer segment. Your responsibilities include:
- Full ownership of ARR growth, covering new logos, expansion, and retention driven by usage.
- Driving substantial revenue growth across an active base of hundreds of customers.
- Translating product usage data into measurable expansion and upsell opportunities.
- Developing and implementing a scalable and repeatable expansion engine.
- Defining strategic priorities across the customer base based on their revenue potential.
- Leading weekly revenue cadences, ensuring clear decision-making and diligent follow-through.
This role effectively integrates customer engagement, revenue generation, and operational execution into a single, cohesive operating system.
What You Will Do:
This is a highly hands-on position where you will actively engage with customers and teams:
- Participate directly in customer calls and meetings.
- Lead critical expansion and upsell conversations.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Account Managers, and Product Adoption teams.
- Establish clear usage and expansion targets for individual customers.
- Drive execution and overcome challenges when customers or internal teams face obstacles.
- Ensure decisions are closed-loop and translate directly into positive outcomes.
Teams You Will Lead:
You will directly manage all customer-facing revenue functions, including:
- Sales (responsible for new customer acquisition)
- Account Managers
- Product Adoption
- Customer Operations
Requirements:
- 3–7 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience owning or significantly influencing revenue outcomes.
- Background working within SaaS, Fintech, or infrastructure companies.
- Proven exposure to expansion, upsell, or post-sale growth strategies.
