About The Role
Ogury is looking for a motivated Data Engineer to join our growing Data Reporting team. In this role, you'll be responsible for organizing and maintaining the data stack to ensure data availability and reporting systems are efficient and aligned with business needs.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data platform, persona, and supply side platform teams, to optimize the data architecture and enhance the reporting systems that serve both internal and external clients.

What You Will Be Doing
- Re-organize and clean up the current data stack, ensuring it aligns with product needs and business reporting requirements.
- Create and manage reporting systems and data pipelines, ensuring data is available to clients and business users in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with product teams, business leaders, and key stakeholders to identify reporting requirements and deliver actionable, data-driven insights that support strategic decision-making.
- Focus on data modelling, ETL processes, and ensuring high-quality data for reporting.
- Provide operational support and help business teams by troubleshooting and improving data workflows.
- Ensure that the systems are designed and built with sustainability in mind, focusing on maintaining quality and process improvement.
What You Will Bring To Ogury
- 1-2 years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, with an understanding of SQL, DBT, and data cataloging.
- Experience in building and managing ETL pipelines, working with SQL and Python.
- Understanding of data modeling and reporting processes, with a focus on supporting business needs.
- A practical, operational mindset—comfortable with managing interactions and supporting business teams.
- Good communication skills, especially in working with business owners and product teams.
- A desire to be hands-on and operational, with a willingness to learn and grow, ensuring that data is accessible, useful, and aligned with business requirements.
