About the Role
The Web Developer at Odoo is responsible for designing, coding, and maintaining websites and web applications. This role requires proficiency in both front-end and back-end technologies and ensures responsive, user-friendly digital solutions that align with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain websites and web applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using best practices.
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, and mobile responsiveness.
- Integrate front-end designs with back-end services and databases.
- Conduct testing, debugging and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
- Collaborate with designers, content creators, and stakeholders.
- Maintain website security, troubleshoot issues, and apply updates.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Create reusable code libraries to improve team efficiency.
- Perform routine backups and maintain proper version control.
Requirements & Preferred Qualifications
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience) and proven experience in web development. Must be proficient in HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, REST APIs, JSON, and SOAP. Experience with CMS platforms, frameworks like React/Angular/Vue.js, and server-side technologies is preferred. Familiarity with Windows and Linux environments, version control systems, databases, SEO best practices, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is highly valued.
