Overview

Odoo Developers is seeking a creative and technically skilled Web Developer. In this role, you will design, code, and maintain websites and web applications for various industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain websites and web applications.
  • Write clean, efficient, well-documented code using best practices.
  • Ensure websites are optimized for speed, performance and mobile responsiveness.
  • Integrate front-end designs with back-end services and databases.
  • Conduct testing and debugging for cross-browser/platform compatibility.
  • Collaborate with designers, content creators and stakeholders.
  • Maintain security, troubleshoot issues, and perform updates.
  • Create reusable code libraries and efficient workflows.
  • Conduct routine backups and manage version control.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a Web Developer, Software Engineer or similar role.
  • Proficiency in HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and PHP.
  • Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and SOAP.
  • Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility, responsive design and security principles.
  • Hands-on experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Windows and Linux environments.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with frameworks like React, Angular or Vue.js.
  • Knowledge of server-side technologies (Node.js, Python or Ruby).
  • Familiarity with MySQL, MongoDB or PostgreSQL databases.
  • Experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab).
  • Understanding of SEO best practices.
  • Cloud platform knowledge (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud).
