Job Description
About the Role: Senior Solidity Engineer at Odiin
You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing blockchain-based applications, ensuring high performance and security within the Ethereum and EVM-compatible ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy smart contracts using Solidity.
- Optimize gas efficiency and ensure the security of smart contracts through rigorous testing and audits.
- Collaborate with blockchain architects, backend developers, and product teams to integrate smart contracts with decentralized applications (dApps).
- Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices for Solidity development.
- Stay up to date with blockchain advancements, security vulnerabilities, and new Ethereum Improvement Proposals (EIPs).
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in Solidity development and smart contract architecture.
- Strong understanding of Ethereum, EVM, and layer-2 scaling solutions.
- Experience with Solidity security patterns, common vulnerabilities (e.g., reentrancy, overflow/underflow, front-running), and mitigation techniques.
- Familiarity with smart contract development frameworks such as Hardhat, Foundry, or Truffle.
- Experience with DeFi, NFTs, DAOs, or other blockchain-based applications is a plus.
Nice to Have:
- Experience working with blockchain protocols beyond Ethereum (e.g., Solana, Polkadot, Cosmos).
- Knowledge of zero-knowledge proofs, cryptographic principles, or rollups.
- Open-source contributions or a strong GitHub profile showcasing Solidity projects.
