Overview
Oddball is seeking a Digital Solutions Architect to support the Growth organization and lead business and technical solutioning for federal proposals, coding challenges, and technical presentations.
What You’ll Be Doing
Solution Design & Technical Leadership: Lead the architecture and design of solutions in Agile, cloud-native, and AI/ML domains. Align technical solutions with solicitation requirements and organize teams of subject matter experts.
Proposal Development Support: Interpret RFPs, PWS/SOWs, and related criteria to develop compliant and responsive solutions. Contribute to technical volumes, architecture diagrams, and use case flows.
Technical Governance & Compliance: Ensure solutions align with federal IT standards (NIST, FedRAMP, FISMA, etc.) and incorporate best practices.
Collaboration & Innovation: Work cross-functionally with business development, UX, engineering, and leadership teams to present clear solution strategies. Support pre-RFP capture efforts through whiteboarding and customer meetings.
Execution and Ownership: Commit to delivering high-quality, on-time proposals in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Bring
Over 7 years of IT or software engineering experience and at least 3 years in a solutions architect or technical lead role, ideally within federal proposals. Strong background in Agile methodologies, DevSecOps, AI/ML, and familiarity with federal compliance standards. Excellent communication skills and a track record in cross-functional collaboration are essential.
Preferred Qualifications & Requirements
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, SAFe Agilist, CISSP).
- Experience with digital-focused agencies and government proposals.
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML platforms and cloud-native tools.
- Authorization to work in the United States (with potential security clearance requirements).
Benefits & Compensation
This is a fully remote position offering comprehensive benefits including a company match 401(k), flexible PTO, and paid holidays. The salary range is between $150,000 – $190,000, reflecting competitive and fair compensation practices.
