About The Cook Role
As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing foods according to established specifications and quality standards, based on recipes and procedures. You will prepare equipment and food based on forecasted needs and events, and maintain a working knowledge of all kitchen machinery operations. Your duties will also include maintaining updated knowledge related to current menu options, preparation methods, techniques, and ingredients. The role requires maintaining appropriate inventory controls, dating all incoming products, and assisting in ordering, receiving, and storing all food and beverage related products. You will also assist in monitoring and upholding policies and procedures for the safety of guests and team members, and help maintain cleanliness throughout the department. Collaboration is key, as you will assist team members and other departments as needed to contribute to operational efficiency. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by leadership.
