This Cook position is specifically located at Hyatt Place Cape Canaveral.
Role Overview: Cook
As a Cook at Hyatt Place Cape Canaveral, you will be integral to delivering high-quality culinary experiences. You will ensure all food is prepared to the exact specifications and standards, contributing to guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepares foods according to specifications and quality standards established in recipes and procedures.
- Prepares equipment and food based on forecasted needs and events.
- Maintains working knowledge of all kitchen machinery operations.
- Maintains updated knowledge related to current menu options, preparation methods and techniques, and ingredients.
- Maintains appropriate inventory controls and dates all incoming products.
- Assists in ordering, receiving, and storing of all food and beverage related products.
- Assists in monitoring and upholding policies and procedures for safety of guests and team members.
- Assists in maintaining cleanliness throughout the department.
- Assists team members and other departments as needed to contribute to operational efficiency.
- Performs additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership.
