Overview
OCHIN, a nonprofit leader in healthcare innovation, is seeking a Healthcare Compliance Manager to lead a small, dedicated team that executes and enhances our compliance program across multi-state environments. The role requires advanced knowledge of healthcare compliance, risk management, and regulatory practices.
Essential Duties
Team Management:
- Lead, motivate, and support the compliance team.
- Conduct regular team meetings and 1:1 check-ins.
- Implement OCHIN’s strategy and manage performance.
- Coach and mentor team members for leadership growth.
Compliance:
- Oversee investigations related to compliance, audits, and remediation.
- Develop and maintain departmental procedures and processes.
- Collaborate with organizational leaders and resolve escalations.
- Manage compliance training for staff and customer engagements.
Projects:
- Ensure projects adhere to federal, state, and institutional regulations.
- Oversee internal risk assessments, audits, and standardized training.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in healthcare compliance, risk management in a multi-state environment, and preferably a Juris Doctorate. Professional certifications in Healthcare Compliance are a plus. Candidates must have strong analytical, investigative, and communication skills. Submission of a writing sample and completion of a competency assessment are required.
Additional Information
