Job Summary

The Manager, Corporate Credit Administration oversees and manages the administrative functions related to corporate loan portfolios within OCBC. This role ensures all loan documentation, processing, compliance, and servicing activities are conducted efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. The Manager leads a team of loan administrators and works closely with credit, legal, risk, and operations departments to support the bank’s corporate lending function.

Responsibility

  • Manage Loan Documentation: Ensure accurate preparation, review, and maintenance of all corporate loan documents, including loan agreements, amendments, security documents, and covenants.
  • Oversee Loan Processing: Supervise the loan administration team in processing loan disbursements, repayments, renewals, restructurings, and closures.
  • Ensure Compliance: Monitor adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and lending guidelines to mitigate operational and credit risks.
  • Portfolio Monitoring and Reporting: Track loan performance, covenant compliance, and prepare regular reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.
  • Coordinate Cross-Functional Activities: Liaise with credit analysts, legal counsel, risk management, and operations to facilitate smooth loan approval and servicing processes.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate the loan administration team to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Resolve Issues: Address and resolve discrepancies, errors, or disputes related to loan accounts and documentation promptly.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance loan administration processes, increase efficiency, and reduce operational risks.
  • Maintain Systems: Oversee the use and maintenance of loan administration systems and databases to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
