Senior Systems Engineer

Obsidian Solutions Group LLC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer with TS/SCI Clearance to join the Enterprise Management Engineering team in St. Louis, MO. You will coordinate with network engineers to configure and manage the Government Customer’s Enterprise Infrastructure for management and monitoring.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide fault and performance monitoring using EM standard tools.
• Analyze and recommend network optimization and integration enhancements.
• Participate in customer, contract, and vendor meetings.
• Design, document, and coordinate changes to system architecture.
• Work with routers, bridges, switches, storage networks in UNIX and Windows environments.
• Engage in supervisory responsibilities.
• Integrate event and incident ticketing and email systems.
• Support special projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree + 8+ years or Associate’s Degree + 10+ years relevant experience.
• Operational ServiceNow experience.
• Experience in the Intelligence Community.
• DoD 8140/IAT Level I and Security+ CE (within 6 months).
• TS/SCI Clearance required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to obtain CI Poly Clearance.
• Strong independent and teamwork skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and customer support via phone.
• Proven problem-solving skills.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

The role requires extended periods of sitting, use of arms and hands, and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds. The work environment is typically a temperature-controlled office, with occasional visits to operational sites.
