Position Overview

Oak View Group, the global leader in venue development, management, and premium hospitality services, is seeking a Temporary Coordinator, Social Impact & Cultural Engagement. This role supports the DEI team through the execution of cultural engagement programs, employee resource group initiatives, and social impact efforts. It is ideal for someone passionate about creating inclusive experiences, highly organized, and skilled at administrative coordination.

Responsibilities

Program & Project Support:

  • Support DEI programs including Ascend, ERG Roundtables, Campus Takeovers, and heritage month activations.
  • Assist with event logistics such as scheduling, vendor coordination, run-of-show creation, and materials preparation.
  • Track project timelines and deliverables for multi-stakeholder DEI initiatives.
  • Coordinate speakers and partners for webinars, panels, and summits.
  • Support internship and mentorship experiences through engagement tracking and feedback collection.

Administrative & Operational Support:

  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and prepare related agendas and notes.
  • Coordinate travel logistics, catering orders, and material shipments.
  • Maintain internal databases and program records.
  • Assist with budget tracking and expense reporting.
  • Draft internal communications such as invitations, recaps, and program updates.

Employee Resource Groups & Cultural Engagement:

  • Organize monthly ERG leader roundtables and special activations.
  • Coordinate distribution of swag and toolkits.
  • Assist in planning internal summits and professional development events.
  • Support data collection to inform reporting and growth strategies.

Communications & Content Support:

  • Draft social copy, emails, event briefs, and internal recaps in partnership with the Senior Director.
  • Assist in creating slide decks and one-pagers.
  • Maintain DEI event calendars and help prepare internal newsletters.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in DEI, HR, communications, business, public relations, social impact or related fields, with 1–2 years of relevant experience. The candidate should have excellent organizational and time management skills, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and project tracking tools such as Airtable or Monday.com. Experience in fast-paced or cross-functional environments and a passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion are essential.
