Position Summary

The Events Kitchen Assistant at Ensemble Arts is responsible for preparing and finishing all hot and cold foods in accordance with event recipes and standards. This role offers a competitive hourly wage and benefits including health, dental, vision, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a clean, organized, and efficient manner in a high-pressure environment
  • Operate across multiple kitchen stations
  • Prepare dishes ensuring quality food portions and presentation
  • Utilize excellent knife skills and cooking proficiency
  • Assist the Culinary Management team with food preparation tasks
  • Maintain clean work areas including kitchens, storage, and equipment
  • Help unload deliveries and keep storage areas organized

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of off-premise catering or cook experience
  • Professional work ethic and effective communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
  • Leadership and teamwork in a dynamic kitchen environment
  • Physical ability to work long hours standing and lift heavy items
  • Culinary degree preferred but not required
