Position Summary
The Bartender is responsible for serving all beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. The ideal candidate is personable, professional, and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Excellent attendance and flexibility to work events as scheduled are essential.
Compensation & Benefits
This position pays an hourly rate of $11.00 (tip eligible) and offers benefits including a 401(k) Savings Plan with matching for part-time roles.
Responsibilities
- Provide exemplary guest service in a fast-paced setting.
- Follow pre-shift notes, bar menus, and proper serving procedures.
- Upsell products by knowing beer, wine, and spirits.
- Ensure compliance with state/federal regulations including ID checks.
- Handle cash accurately and maintain a clean work station.
- Manage guest conflicts and contact management when necessary.
- Assist with setup and breakdown of bar equipment as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum six months bartending experience.
- Accurate cash handling skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work both independently and in a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and long hours.
- Bartending school preferred.
