About the Role
NZ Safety Blackwoods is seeking a driven and strategically focused Business Development Specialist - APC Technical Solutions to drive sales and margin growth across the Auckland and Northland territory. This role involves technical sales, consultative support, and lead generation, using CRM tools and effective presentation skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales and margin growth in defined territories.
- Support account managers with coaching and lead generation.
- Deliver presentations and training sessions on technical products.
- Lead strategic projects, manage RFPs, and negotiate contracts.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
- Manage sales pipeline using HubSpot and reporting tools.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration and partnerships.
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate has at least five years in technical product sales or account management, consultative sales expertise, excellent communication skills, and preferably a tertiary qualification in a related field such as engineering or electrical. Experience with gas detection or mechanical services is a plus.
