Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated Snack Bar Attendant to join our team. This role involves food preparation, serving, and cashiering functions in our cash operation outlets. The position reports to a supervisor and requires adherence to established procedures and direct supervision.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare, serve, distribute, and store food and supplies in all cash operation outlets, ensuring compliance with merchandising and code requirements.
• Maintain a neat, sanitary, and organized work environment, checking and refilling items as needed.
• Follow established timetables to complete assignments within allotted timeframes.
• Confers with supervisor and/or peers regarding assignments and other related duties.
• Assure adherence to sanitary procedures in the operation and cleaning of equipment.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of food and supplies.
• Demonstrate knowledge in the proper use and sanitation of all necessary equipment.
• Interact with the public adhering to established Service Standards.
• Wash equipment and sterilize utensils according to departmental standards, practicing consistent care of equipment.
• Wash hands frequently and use disposable food gloves.
• Communicate operational problems to cash operation management to ensure equipment meets safety standards.
• Perform cash handling functions accurately and efficiently, procuring and recording transactions promptly and accurately within cash handling guidelines.
• Ensure menu prices are accurate and itemize each sale as prescribed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and follow simple verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Effective communication skills with all levels of the organization.
