Position Summary
The candidate performs patient care emphasizing assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. As a key member of the interdisciplinary team, you will collaborate with providers to implement comprehensive care plans while adhering to NYU Langone Health Patient Care and Nursing Standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Collect, assess, and document patient healthcare data.
- Collaborate with providers to formulate and implement care plans.
- Document assessments, interventions, and reassessments in medical records.
- Educate patients and families regarding health status and care plans.
- Participate in unit activities and quality improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to professional standards and regulatory requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
Must hold a current Registered Nurse License in NY, a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Basic Life Support Certification, and excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Membership in professional organizations and effective communication with all levels of staff are preferred.
