Job Description

Program Manager Career & Development (Accountancy)

Are you excited about coordinating projects with various stakeholders, do you have commercial work experience, and are you a true team player? Then we are looking for you! In this role, you will be the central point of contact, advising potential students, effortlessly organizing Open Days and other events with the team, and effectively representing Nyenrode to high school deans and accounting firms.

What will you do?

Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for the student intake into our Accountancy, Controlling, and Tax programs. This ranges from VWO students for the bachelor's program to new students for the pre-master and post-master programs. You will also support individuals looking to transition into a financial role or professionals seeking further development in their careers. We offer a comprehensive range of programs to serve everyone's needs.

With your commercial acumen, you will identify opportunities to recruit potential students, stay informed about market trends, and contribute to marketing campaigns. Do you enjoy presenting to groups, giving information sessions, or conducting training? You can! You will also be responsible for external relations with educational institutions and accounting firms.

The role is incredibly diverse. You will advise prospective students and guide them towards a position at an accounting firm. This involves one-on-one coaching for application support, as well as providing information to groups of potential students.

You will manage accounts with our clients, the accounting firms, and coordinate collaboration with Nyenrode. You will organize information sessions and events, regularly liaising with our marketing colleagues to increase reach. You will track all intake data and use it to improve work processes and identify commercial opportunities.

Who are you?

You have an academic working and thinking level and at least 3 years of work experience. Relevant experience in recruitment, sales, or event management is a plus, but we value an open and communicative attitude more. Above all, you are an organizational talent with a commercial outlook. Furthermore, you are flexible, proactive, and results-oriented. You feel at home in an environment with highly educated professionals where high standards are set, but a down-to-earth mentality is also appreciated.

Nyenrode is a small-scale private university, founded in 1946 by and for the business community, with an international orientation. Department

The accountancy, controlling, and tax programs are delivered at Nyenrode and various locations in the Netherlands. Nyenrode is a market leader in accountancy education with approximately 3,000 students. We also have around 800 students in controlling and tax. Education is provided by and under the responsibility of professors and lecturers from the Nyenrode faculty, as well as external lecturers. The team consists of 65 enthusiastic colleagues dedicated daily to a high-quality study offering, impactful learning experiences, and the best service for our students, lecturers, and accounting firms.

For this position, we offer a salary of € 3,306 to € 5,151 gross per month, depending on your experience, for a full-time employment (Scale 10). 36 vacation days, with the option to extend by five days. A fixed year-end bonus of 5.1%. A flexible year-end bonus of up to 4.5%. Home office allowance, internet allowance, and commuting allowance. Opportunities to follow courses at Nyenrode after 1 year of employment. Hybrid working, supported with a home office budget via Coolblue of € 850. Pension via ABP.
